Thank you TNG and thank you Mr Wonderful!
Time for a proper brew - made with Yorkshire tea - grown in the foothills of the Pennines.

Quite catchy. Maybe, Paul Newman needs a tune like that for his tea.
replySo, after watching this I ordered this tea because tea happens to be the beverage of choice for Mr. Wonderful. My question is should I add milk?

I'll answer while Rickshaw's time zone is asleep: add whatever you want. The purists won't be bothered by milk, but if they are bothered by anything that you want to add (such as cream; cream will bother them, severely), add it anyway. Honey, spices, maple syrup, whisky (bourbon, in your neighbourhood?), apple juice -- anything goes.

Yes TNG you should.
There is disagreement as to whether the tea or the milk should go into the cup / mug first.
The milk should be added to the tea - so that you can gauge the amount of milk required by the colour of the mix.
I know of people who add the milk to the tea before poring over the boiling water.
These people should be hung, drawn & quartered as the brew cannot reach 100 degrees!
Likewise so should people who suggest CREAM, HONEY, SPICES, MAPLE SYRUP, WHISKEY or APPLE JUICE - esp. CREAM!!!
Real men from Yorkshire drink it from a pint pot!

I must say, it is rather good. I've been drinking Newman's Organic, and it has some (I want to say) citrus overtones. The Yorkshire seems more "earthy" and smooth. I'm going to assume that this Yorkshire box is blended for American tastes, too, so I am taking that into account. This is certainly better than Lipton, Luzianne, or other popular brands, and leaps and bounds superior to anything that is in a bottle or can (which is not difficult.) So, my top 3 teas that I have enjoyed, in no particular order, are:
Yorkshire
Newman's Own Organic (blue box)
Numi Breakfast Blend

So glad you like it Mr Wonderful.
Now I'll up the odds!!!
I actually use Yorkshire Gold (it a well kept Yorkshire secret).
And in this link you can read about Taylors / Bettys Tearooms (very grand - waitresses still wear traditional black & white).

As I said: bothered, severely.
Purists outside of Yorkshire add milk to their cup (not mug) first, and pour (not pore) the boiling water over it. They say that it scalds the milk. Some purists in China wash their tea before brewing it.
Times change, people adapt traditions to their local conditions, civilisations crumble. Do what you like with your tea.
