The helix depicted is left-handed. This differs from standard DNA (known as B-DNA), which is a right-handed helix. There is a left-handed DNA form, known as Z-DNA, but this is more obscure. So I guess this is really a Z-DNA image rather than standard B-DNA.

I enjoyed this one. Thanks, mindscrub! This one was actually easy enough for me to solve quickly without xs, but still challenging enough to be fun. Good subject.
