A lot of detail and the good kind of tricky to solve, but I can't really decide on the finished picture...
Not the seasonal I expected at first.
Who or what is the character to the left? A dog with wings??

I looked really close at the thumbnail and I have the same question you do. I agree with the detail and tricky observation! All in all a very good puzzle from a new artist.

I tried to depict the scene of a chance meeting of a fox / dog and a cat / mouse in the evening park in the light of a lantern
