Japanese crossword «Running Woman»

That's usually how I do it. I turn off auto everything (incorrect squares, filled in rows, crossed out completed numbers) and don't place any Xs. I cross out completed numbers on my own. I do use the "Check the crossword" button often, but I don't use it to cheat by checking wild guesses. If I find that I'm not making any progress after staring at it for a while, I'll start placing Xs.

When I do it without xs I leave the automatic xs for a completed row on. I also allow it to tell me that there's an error, but not what the error is.
