No, the ear is there in the lower left, as in a typical howling-at-the-moon silhouette... I have no idea why they rejected this one; it was perfect in my opinion.

replyTricky one, I'll admit. Took me solid 7 minutes to solve, which is quite a lot for a tiny puzzle. Nice challenge!
