Japanese crossword «"Bring us rowan beads"»

Looks too boring with all the 2's, so no, I won't be doing this one.

Very challenging puzzle. I don't get the picture even with the title. I looked up the title and still not sure about it.

I enjoyed the puzzle, thank you, not too easy. I would have enjoyed it a bit more if the resulting image was a bit more easier to understand. As it is, it is a bit of a mystery. An ink blot test ;-)

It never gets really hard. 3 stars at most.
At least it is not boring, since the patterns kinda change all the time.

I have no idea. Nice to solve though, given that the small numbers make calculations more difficult. When solved without Xs, that is. TY author
