Nah, I think it's small and neat!
The chess board pattern can be quite annoying and I did have to assume some of it in the end, but ultimately it was a fun puzzle!

Wow, bisondele, I'm sorry you don't get the same pleasure from NapA's puzzles that most of us (at least those of us who comment regularly) get. I don't think this is one of NapA's best, but I still enjoyed it, and I'm thrilled that he is both prolific and clever.

Whoa there & settle down my dear!
What's it feel like to be in a minority of one?

I found the puzzle not be terribly enjoyable myself, but I don't think NapA is untalented. The problem I have with puzzles like this is that even though I know it's going to be a chessboard pattern, I force myself to solve it logically, just in case, and that can be a bit tedious.
I did rate the final image a little lower than I normally did as well, as I just thought it had too much dead space. I think this started as a 15 x15 and it was too easy, so they added a bit to make it more challenging, which is fair.

Let me see if I can translate:
The quality of the solve for NapA's puzzle left something to be desired. The pacing was slightly erratic due to the chessboard pattern. When used sparingly, such a pattern can produce a fun but challenging puzzle. In this case, it negatively impacted the flow.
The image itself is recognizable but underwhelming. This feels like a case where a smaller puzzle without the extra flourishes would have sufficed. The combination of poorer than expected solve and image create an unsatisfying conclusion.
Overall: not NapA's best realized effort, although that is bound to happen given their prolific output.
(Note: this is not necessarily my actual opinion. Simply a more thoughtful translation of bisondele's critique)

I here - with my size 10 (UK) steel toe-capped boots on!!!
Better late than never - don't forget that I'm in a slower time zone.
Firstly, is it legal to buy bison from a deli?
Secondly - while everyone is entitled their opinion on a puzzle & on a compiler, I really don't get why bison eater is so out of kilter from the rest of us unless... he / she is an unsuccessful compiler & is jealous of NapA's extreme talent & undoubtable success on this site and is exhibiting rankism? Either that or bison meat has twisted their thinking - it can do that you know.
Thirdly I had a Grundig radio just like that one over 50 years ago & loved it!
