This is a wonderful puzzle. It was enjoyable to solve from beginning to end, with just enough chew to make one think throughout. Many puzzles that use this perspective have a habit of creating sections where the glut of 2's used to make the curvature take away most of the challenge. In this example NapA nicely mixes shading and detail work to force a more intricate solve.
The resulting image is pleasing, and not just for its immediate recognizability. The level of detail on display from every angle is superb. Without giving it away there are two things I wanted to comment on: I would have loved it if column 8 had used a 1-3 pattern and column 12 had used a 4-4 instead of the 9... This would have produced a truer representation. That said, the aforementioned objects are perfectly placed for that 'showcase smile.'
I enjoy most of NapA's puzzles, but this one is possibly my favorite. So far...

replyNapA, great, difficult puzzle. Didn't see it until the end. Glad it's not a bowling ball.
