Took me a good 23 minutes to finish this one, and the result is very worthwhile!

Thanks! Took me even longer... every pixel was a struggle up to the end. And yet, a provisional 2.5, now down to 2, may as well settle on 1.5 star like everything else for all the use difficulty ratings are anymore. I did an older 4* one that was easier than this.

I would give this one a 3 but (and maybe I'm in the minority) I don't ever fill in the ratings. Being very logic oriented, I just enjoy the process and the outcome, and yours never disappoint!

replyI find it interesting that you solve your own puzzles - that had never really occurred to me! I bet you go a little faster than the rest of us because you know what the image will be, so that might lead you to resolve a knotty bit of logic in one spot that might elude those who don't know.

Actually, it doesn't really help at all to know what the puzzle will be. Sure, I could cheat, but since I don't, I have to go through all the same steps as anyone else. It was actually just so I could solve my own puzzles that I started doing them.

replyI can't say how long this took me because I kept going down rabbit holes and coming back. I do know, this wasn't easy. Most mindscrub puzzles aren't. That is one of the things I appreciate about this artist. I wonder if mindscrub is lalopop reincarnated.

Hah, no, aside from not being Russian, I'm not really an artist. I'm just a techie who forges art badly, which works well for this medium. I usually, but not always, work from some kind of reference pic. My image of this one changed so much I could no longer call it a hula dancer ;-)
I'd say more of a 3 than a 2.5. Took me ages - brain fogged.
replyAfter reading the comments - and not wanting to spend all night on it - I decided to allow myself the use of X's - so, although I feel a bit disappointed in myself in 'cheating', I did complete it in 15 mins - so I feel pleased relative to the time of others :-)

As someone who prides himself on solving quickly, I can say this puzzle is hard enough for its size to merit more than 2.5 stars. Not sure about a 3-star difficulty though as there aren't really any advanced tricks necessary to get through it. I managed in 11:12 which is a few minutes more than I would have guessed judging by size alone. Thanks, mindscrub.
reply19:14 minutes, but only because my brain mixed up 2 numbers in one column...in my favour! AND that was my second attempt, since I messed up the first go and cleared the board! Great, puzzling puzzle with a worthwhile image at the end! Thanks mindscrub.

I agree with almost all the comments, it was more difficult than 2,5 to me. And the image is nice, with movement like dancing kinda rock. Looking at her face, seems a dressed squeleton :) , but is good for the size. Very nice.
It took me almost 21 minutes and that was with guessing; my logic failed me. So I gave it a 5 for difficulty.
