Great puzzle, Mindscrub! Did you know that ostriches really don't put their head in the sand? That idea was started when a photographer put an ostrich head in the sand and took a picture of it. I can imagine that the ostrich was NOT pleased. They do peck in the dirt for bugs and other goodies.
