I disagree. Even though the site is Russian, the artist is Ukranian. The Ukrainians are suffering but so are, to a much lesser extent, the Russians. So let us hope this insane war ends asap and both countries recover. In any case, by showing solidarity to people’s suffering we are not pooping on the general Russian.
(However, I must confess I would gladly soiling Putin’s palace marble floors.)

I believe we should pray for Ukraine, as well as Russia. It is not pooping on anyone's floor to pray. I pray for peace & an early resolution to this conflict/war. I am sad to hear that you, Nono-Gram, would suggest it is in extremely bad taste. You are generally upbeat, complimentary, & seeing the potential good in people. I do not think most of us wish for war. And I don't see how JLB's comments were against Russia.

The Russian invasion of Ukraine is a crime. Thousands are being killed. And you're concerned about "bad taste"?
If the owners of this website are ok with prayers for Ukraine then no harm is done. If they object to prayers for Ukraine then screw'em. Prayers for Ukrane don't mean any harm is wished on individual Russians who are caught up in Putin's war.
