The words are the same in Spanish, too.

But not in English. Hence the translation issue.

For what it’s worth, there’s an issue even in English: what we in America call a flashlight is called a torch in Britain and elsewhere. To us, a torch is a flaming firebrand, not a hand-held electric light. What’s shown in the picture is a lantern.
