Dung beetle! I love those little champs. (I have cows, so they're important.)

Fun fact (if you're not Australian). Dung beetles were not native to Australia - neither were cows. Nonetheless cows were brought into the country - the result was an extreme number of flies. Hence the old saying "Australian wave" and the invention of the Akubra hat with hanging corks. For decades Australians were assailed by flies - if one went for a walk one's back would be covered in flies (the ones resting that we were not attacking face, neck etc.). Then in the 1960's the CSRIO initiated the dung beetle project. It took a couple of decades but now the flies are no longer a problem. Their numbers are reasonable.
Things are so different at that scale.
replyLove all the alternate suggestions. Looks like a bomb ready to explode to me. wrozlaw, could you explain this picture to us?
replyI totally got a picture of Sisyphus pushing his rock up the hill. Mythology is silent about how many lower limbs Sisyphus may or may not have had.
