One of the things that so appeals to me about nonograms is how a very few pixels can unambiguously and even poetically bring through a very specific thing. This couldn't be a toaster or a beetle or a cat or a wolf or even a shepherd, or husky or poodle. It must be a beagle. Not only is it a beagle, but I can see what mood it's in.
