Unexpectedly good image - nice one. Excellent puzzle.
replyThey don't seem to belong to the same font type but let's not split hair;-)

No, let's. This is wholly unacceptable. As solver's we spend a lot of time working through puzzles. Without us, the constructors on this site would be nothing. Less than nothing. They would be non-entities, futilely shouting into the endless void. Our mere existence not only sustains theirs, but defines it. Without us solvers, constructor's simply do not exist. And for mindscrub to so callously depict characters in a plain font in one part of the image and then use a serif font for the close-up is directly disrespectful to our collective intelligence. We deserve better! From this point forward we will no longer sit idly by and be taken for granted. We will come together. We will have a unified voice. We will dismantle the oppressive regime of constructors who dictate their wills upon us. We demand satisfaction. We demand puzzles free from continuity errors. Together we are stronger than those who wish to cast us into roles of unquestioning subservience.

It's true; I was just not existing over here waiting for comments to appear to make my efforts worthwhile, and now I am fulfilled, though suitably chastened for an egregious oversight. I will try to bring my fonts up to snuff in the future.

How demoralizing to know your reality is predicated on the ramblings of a troll with too much time on his hands! Bwahahaha!
Off topic: I quite enjoyed this puzzle. Honestly, brilliant idea.

Haha. Ah, but ultracritical does not take into consideration that a plain font from a distance may show its serif qualities when magnified.

Nothing wrong with the font. It's a stamp collector who has just found a rare error on one of their stamps. No time for mindless, false, criticism!
(I hadn't spotted that this was by you - but the moment I'd finished I knew the author. Thank you!

I would, but it is too much effort to get up from my chair, unless I have to pee.

Since TNG is preoccupied I’ll say it - Good puzzle to solve without X’s
replyWow, I think you won the Internet yesterday. Or today. Or whenever it was that you posted this.
And by the way, it's "constructors," not "constructor's." Get it straight. :p

I thought I had been awarded the 3rd place ribbon.
Yet another superb puzzle Mindscrub. Unique (which I love) and creative (ditto).
replyI've always believed that someone creative and sharing of his/her effort should be appreciated, if not applauded, for that gift. Thank you mindscrub - I've so very, very glad you didn't leave.
replyWhen you put things under one of these they become rather obvious.
replyVery clever! Keep up the great, imaginative work!
replyplease fix the grid. there is a bigger line between the seventh and eighth cell from the left

Not on mine screen there isn't! It's probably to do with your screen's resolution. See what happens if you change the (err hmm) magnification!
