Wow! A tricky one this small, and such a good one. Kudos.

Thanks! There are lots of these already, but not one this small from the front. I was pretty pleased with the difficulty, too!

13:28 without x’s. Thanks mindscrub for creating such imaginative and challenging puzzles! My mind is now fully scrubbed and ready to start the day.

Why was the elephant kicked out of the pool?
Because his trunks kept falling down.

Mmmmkay, I don't know what y'all are talking about. This puzzle is not that hard.
replySo hard!!! It took 20 minutes for such a small puzzle, although I didn't use X
replyQuite a tricky one, and only figured out what it was at the end. Beautifully made.
replymindscrub certainly pushes this little puzzle to the limits. Difficult for it's size, this puzzle focuses on the logical placement of single pixels rather than overlapping 'must-be' counting oriented type logic. This technique is used to it's fullest potential here, forcing users to pin-point the only possible next move before the puzzle opens up again. While not hard per-se, it is an under utilized method, and mindscrub makes the best of it.
In doing so, he's crafted a puzzle that is not only a pleasure to complete, but a rewarding image fitting of the difficulty. Tiny nonograms certainly aren't lacking for members of a certain kingdom, but rarely are they this precisely executed. The minimal resolution makes any meaningful details difficult to accomplish. By eschewing definition in the body for the more unique aspects of his subject's visage, mindscrub delivers an image that is crystal clear yet still hidden until the very end.

Thanks! It still shows 2.5 stars difficulty, which has only been done 5 other times for an image this small (and inflation (deflation?) seems to be making it harder to achieve). It took a lot of doing to get this image to push the limits of solvability to this degree.

I think maybe you've spoiled the tiny community with such well-made and challenging puzzles that the ability of the average solver has increased. What might have been a 3 star puzzle in the era of daily seans wonders is now more accessible to more people. Inflation, for sure. Unfortunately there's only so much one can do to push the difficulty in such a small resolution. Poor product for the sake of making something hard certainly isn't the solution. You're the nonogram maestro, I'll leave it to you to figure out!
replyultracritical has said it once again! cleverly created puzzle, mindscrub, thank you!
replyAbsolutely one of my favorites. Thank you for this work of genius.
