You may feel like you are being outfoxed. You'll find that you aren't.
RenardRoux continues his streak of brining well-crafted difficult puzzles to the Small category. This construction calls for all the tricks solvers are familiar with, without every feeling like there is only one particular path forward. The ability to make small strides in multiple directions is the mark of a creator who understands how a puzzle should flow and makes that work to craft an image. Instead of the other way around. This is a joy to solve, made all the better by a satisfying pay off.
The image is elegant and detailed, making great use of the large canvas. The zoomed in perspective really allows the creator to focus on the small details, utilizing negative space to its fullest potential. If there is a complaint to be had, it is that the image is somewhat undefined in the puzzle view. But the completed thumbnail is spectacular and worth the price of admission.

Very subtle use of 'incomplete' information... leaving blank space where a more conventional rendering would have an outline. Allows the mind to fill in the remainder.
