Possible mistranslation, but close enough.

There are so many things I want to say about this image, most of them having to do with the supposed subject and it's genetic lineage having a disturbing amount of standard dachshund. Alas, that will be the only reference to the general body shape of the subject. As The-Nono-Gram said, "we cut new artists a lot of slack." I have to agree. While I have no issues tearing into subpar work from seasoned creators, I see no benefit to baring the sharp fangs of pointed criticism toward a fledgling constructor. The puzzle itself was competent; just difficult enough as to not be easy. The small details in the image show promise, and the things I normally harp on (misplaced pixels, unusual bodily contortions) are forgivable for a new artist tackling a sophomore puzzle. Or maybe I'm just soft.

Either way: I bet the next one will be better.

Well, I thought this was pretty good . A nice warm up, and thanks to ultracritical I now know what sophomore means!
