The off-center focus really gives the subject a clarity that a more standard approach would have left sorely lacking. The light-flare effect down the body of the pepper is a nice touch and the definition at the top is as good as the size of the image will allow. From a difficulty standpoint, the obvious starting point of the first column does the puzzle an overall disservice by self-solving the second column. From there, it may as well be a paint-by-numbers. When considering nonograms as both puzzles and art, one is unable to grade those concepts separately. The best 'grams provide a consistent level of challenge throughout while slowly developing an image that only comes into view with the few remaining pixels. Here, seans has created an excellent image but a puzzle that even a novice would find undeserving of their solving prowess. That said, the solution provides substantially more pay-off than the generic mushroom one might expect of such a simple challenge.
