Yeah, someone confused a more common recreational vehicle with the '74 VW - which doesn't even look like a camper until you pop the top.

These campers were made by PaCoMobil in Mexico City, Mexico. That may be why we’ve never seen one. That, and there were only 50 ever made. Fitted with a camper conversion, this T2 Transporter is finished in two-tone blue and white over a beige interior, and the camper features a partially finished interior including a sink, a tiled backsplash, U-shaped seating with a center table, a Hisense refrigerator, a lavatory, a chandelier, and more.

it's a barely mobile home. I got stuck behind lots of these on my last road trip.
I think that's the exact same one we had when I was a kid. (I would need to check to see if there are any giant carpenter ants hidden in the walls...)
