That's what microwaves are for. My wife makes it and it's usually ten minutes or more before I go into the kitchen (after all, can't stop a nonogram for trivialities), so I just shove it in, zap it for one minute, and voilà!

Than how would you know that it tastes bad? By the way, Microwaved water just tastes like hot water, as in, the exact same as if you made it in anything else.
