Archimedes is the guy who said "Eureka!" when he figured out how to calculate mass as his body displaced water in the bathtub (or something like that). So that's a guy quoting a Greek, displaying an American invention, and having a Russian idea, I suspect. I love this international site!!! :)
replyNot Edison - sorry. Edison refined the idea - In 1841 a British inventor named Frederick DeMoleyns patented a bulb with burners made of platinum and carbon.
