This one used to have a pretty big blob that was easy to get first, and then solving the rest was tricky. I broke the blob up a little bit and my solver said that the puzzle had gotten *easier* as a result, which puzzled me. But then I tried it, and turns out that, instead of gradually accumulating the big blob, I bounced around making minor deductions until it knocked some of the edge into place, which started to shape out the blob directly.

I solved this puzzle, but it turned out to be upside-down, so now I'll try it the other way.

replyA pleasant challenge to solve. The subject is not a thing I think of as picturesque, but the solid appearance and realism of this image elevates it to art. Maybe I should appreciate this object more - it's certainly useful! Thank you, paul!
