This one struck just the right chord with me. A very simple Laridae is hard to come by.

Yorkshire - nowhere comes close!
You can take a man out of Yorkshire - but you can NEVER take the Yorkshire out of a Yorkshireman!
Even though I now live in Essex - my ears prick up whenever I hear those flat vowels - & I have to ask - "where's tha from"?

No, it's just that as a North American I have to think twice about hemidemisemiquavers and such. As for the time zones, I've given up figuring that out here. I just know that the time stamps bear no resemblance whatsoever to the time when I post something.

Omigod! I missed the pun! I think the time zone I'm in is the Twilight Zone.
replyLondon is 0 GTM, my country (Uruguay) it's -3 GTM, and yours is between -4 GTM and -7 GTM, if I'm not wrong.

I'm on the west coast of Canada, so my time zone is currently GMT-7 but will change to GMT-8 when we go off of daylight savings time and return to standard time (ugh). And we have one province that's in a different time zone altogether -- Newfoundland is GMT-2.5 and will be GMT-3.5 when they go off of standard time. So our time zones, in effect, range from GMT-2.5 to GMT-8 depending on what part of the country you're in and what time of year it is.
But... I'm going to pay attention to what time this post is stamped, because it's this site that has me stymied.

Okay, it says 3:48, and it's 5:48 here, so I can just add 2 hours for a quick calculation (except that 5:48 is actually 17:48). I had to do this in real time to figure it out.

Which is more enjoyable? Solving the puzzle or reading the punny notes.
