Nice. The top figure is more recognizable than the bottom figure, but I like it.
Lovely pic and good challenge as always.
Tough puzzle. I like it - good topic.
Unique!
... or a phage prepares to attack a bacteria? or maybe both are happening at the same time.
I loved it. Very clever design. Puzzles that you advance by figuring out stuff instead of counting are always the best ones.

I totally agree with you on the idea of puzzles teaching you a new skill.
Those are my favorites, too, nuce!

I enjoy the use of logic.
nuce, my favorite logic nonogram is Christmas Candles by Sergey (color). ;)
Beautiful design, Lalopop! Thank you!!!
I'm totally stuck! Can anyone tell me what technique to use next? Here's a photo of my current status: https://take.ms/UQ14n

If you use a hint and look at how the answer was derived (you may have to look back at the Rules for Solving), you will either learn a new technique or see where you went wrong. Hints are the best source of feedback. Good luck! ;)

Thank you! I thought the hints just revealed a random square - didn't realize they were "smart." Very helpful.
You´re absolutely right Sheryl but I can´t resist explaining.
Apart from the obvious, r19c5 which can´t be black, you find the solution in column 11. If r8 and r9 in c11 would be black then r11 can´t be black AND on the other hand if r13c11 is part of the 2 in c11 then r11 can´t be black as well. Conclusion r11c11 can´t be black. Subsequently r11c15,16,17 must be black.
Maybe you figured that all out already using the ´smart´ hints...

Thats exactly where they directed me! Thank you!
Nice one :D so difficult!
It was hard, so I'm glad I did it only using logic and with no hint. :)
Thanks.
Thanks.
WOW!!! How does Lalopop come up with this beautiful logic?

Oh my, LOVED this one!!! There's no endless counting; just good logic :)
Clever! I thought this puzzle started off really easy, then after the top seven or eight rows were done it got really hard!
Great choice of theme, well done. A little too hard for me to do without guessing.
