How about, that the only reason a man would be doing basic household cleaning (like floor scrubbing) is if he ticked off his wife? I'm surprised that it needed to be pointed out, that the assumption that domestic chores are "woman's work," is inherently patriarchal and sexist.
There's this bizarre assumption that misogyny or patriarchy doesn't exist if men claim to respect women or hold them in high regard, but also believe there are inherently female chores, jobs, hobbies, interests, etc. But the latter belief is disrespectful by nature. It's about outdated and archaic views of gender roles that have limited women's choices and opportunities for literally centuries, and in many parts of the world treated women as the property of their father's, husbands, brothers, etc. There's nothing respectful about that.

I wouldn't think that washing the floors would tick off one's wife unless she bought in to the assumption that domestic chores are "woman's work" -- women who do so are part of the problem, although not the biggest part. In any case, Luka is respectful of all, and the only factor that is likely to influence his decision to wash a floor is whether it needs cleaning.

You misread the first sentence of my reply. I said that the only reason he would be doing domestic chores was if he had already ticked off his wife, not that he ticked her off by doing the washing.
The rest of your point goes without saying.

I don't think it does go without saying. You've spent quite a bit of time and energy saying essentially the same thing. Most of what I write here is playful banter, I don't promote or even address ideologies; but I'm pretty much in tune with what you're promoting, and yet you're still trying hard to disagree with me; why is that?
replyI honestly began to think he was playing hockey, before the final image emerged. Nice one!
