Japanese crossword «Eye»

What a mess.

This one wasn't difficult, but time-consuming. As I was completing it I couldn't imagine that all of these separated squares could possibly resolve into something I'd be pleasantly surprised with. But you did, in fact, surprise me! What a beautiful result. It's especially "eye catching" when viewed from a distance.
