Looks like a dog laid down in front of the kennel - scratching its ear with a back leg - head tilted to one side - as they do!

The square is the nose. The inverted L's are the eyes, and another inverted L slightly below is a chin, I guess. The head is cocked about 45 degrees clockwise. Dark ear 4-8 at top left, is not the one being scratched. The tail between 14 and 20 on the right is stumpy. I hope that helps!
I can see it easily in thumbnail. Like this puzzle and fun to do.
