The "hints" are learning tools. They show what the next move is and then you can go back to the Rules for Solving and figure out which one you're missing. I used them a lot.

No question, it could have been, but these creators have to adjust their images to make them solveable. IrenaZ might have started with a better image that didn't have exactly one solution that could be found logically.
