Japanese crossword «Oil station»

Despite the obvious simplicity displayed, we enjoyed the ease with which we completed this. It gave us a sense of accomplishment unachievable in our everyday lives. One of our cohort declared this a petrol pump towards the end of our work, and it turned out she was correct. However, the american term "gas station" is rarely used in our corner of the globe which gave us a little consternation.

I realize the actual intent of that chunk of black in the bottom-right corner, but it looks just a bit like you're filling up some kind of structure with gasoline. And of all the reasons you might be doing that, most of them are really not good. ;)
