Komar is apparently Slovenian for mosquito. Fun and educational. :)

Most Slavic languages share that word, actually.
replyVery nice! It is difficult to make so small and challenging.
replychallenging without making me count and count and count and count ... it was a logical quest not a boring one.
replyIt's a beautiful rendition of a mosquito. It's difficult to make anything look graceful with so few pixels and it's difficult to make a mosquito look anything but annoying, but the artist achieved both. I wouldn't even try!

Actually, I think it's a mosquito and a fly. In a classic of Russian children's poetry, a Mosquito, a brave folk hero, saves the real housewife Mrs. Fly from the awful, no-good, fly-kidnapping Spider.
replyI almost gave up on this one. Glad I didn't.
It made me feel proud to sit this one out.

Can't believe I solved this one! Great puzzle, and the image was worth the work.
replyThis wasn't even challenging. It just takes time to fill and the result is meh. Moving on...
replyMore challenging than I was expecting, nice puzzle.
replyReal fun to solve. I like the way you have to think in logic terms rather than just counting, counting. I find it difficult to see what the picture depicts but that is not so important :) Inspiring, thnx !
replyDid it again one year later and it appears less hard. I learned a few tricks over time, so my skills are improving.

Now I'm puzzled. I can't imagine why it was so hard a few years back.
replyI need to separate working on this on different days :D

As in long while? I worked on it off and on for a couple of hours while cleaning.

I'm so proud I solved it on my first try without any hints or guessing!
replyI found this puzzle quite hard, and got stuck a few times. But on at least two occasions, upon returning to it, I quickly found something obvious that I had missed.
replyidk if i'm just getting better, but 4 seems waaay overrated for the difficulty here. there was just one bottleneck, and it simply took looking for it, which took a long time because there weren't a lot of clues already on there. Didn't take any tricky logic or x spots that were there under all possible scenarios or anything, just a lot of looking and re-counting. I mean, it took me half an hour, so it wasn't EASY, but i'd say this is realistically a solid 3.
