My 16-year-old son, who has been playing football since he was 4, is really missing playing football right now. All of his practices and games have been cancelled due to COVID-19. I wish they could have a modified version where there is no goalie and the players have to stay 6 feet apart. I think it would be manageable with football. For throwing the ball in, they could just always have kicks.

Funny, this is definitely one of those times that the American version is least-correct. Cleats are the things sticking out of the bottom of the shoes, and subsequently we started calling the type of shoes cleats. But in most other places they are called football boots or football shoes.
