is this called aeronaut??? a person in a "luftbalong"? hot air balloon. i believe it's engineer Andrйe from Sweden, heading to the north pole with Fraenkel and Strindberg

replyAeronaut is defined as someone piloting a lighter-than-air craft. So yes, that would include someone piloting a hot air balloon, dirigible, etc.
Though I have to agree with TC, in that I'm not convinced this is one - did they ever make hot air balloons with baskets that small?
