Tip for newbie solvers when you get stuck and can't find a way forward: This puzzle has a spot where you wonder if it should be a 4 segment or a 1 segment. Both of those possible cases reveal an empty spot that will help you forward. That's a good tip for the harder puzzles, too. Sometimes empty spaces reveal themselves near competing possibilities.
Those little grey cells, they still function admirably.
