I've enjoyed your puzzle, but rebus should be readable in english

It's impossible to make it readable in English and Russian at the same time. I have seen English-speakers work out all the Russian sounds and PoINOvik has been kind enough to make an English-language rebus now and then--though it can't be easy as PoINOvik's language is Russian. PoINOvik is an extraordinarily talented artist and I don't know what the chances are that an English-speaking artist of that caliber will come along. A politely-worded request to PoINOvik for an English-language rebus may get a response.

I think people don’t realize or like to forget this is a Russian hosted site.

He can do it Ungwatsi (one of those African click-click-pop languages); he's making a picture/puzzle; it's not his fault you don't know the language to understand it.

I got the fish part - it is a lovely puzzle.
Thanks for the explanation, PolN0vik! This a great puzzle! I couldn't have read it but I enjoyed the solving a lot! :D Thank you!
replyHaha this is so clever! Thank you for the explanation as well.
replyNo matter the language, a puzzle is a puzzle. That, plus English isn't the only language in the world, and this site is largely Russian. Tricky puzzle to get started for me, but I appreciate the challenge nonetheless
replyWas harder than the difficulty made it look like... or maybe I'm not very good.
replyNice pictographic language riddle in a nonogram! Thanks to the author!
Would love to solve one in english, as I don't know russian. I'm actually portuguese, but english would be fine. ;-)

No idea what this was, until i read the comments, means nothing to me ;(
replyI'd read the spoilers, including PolNOvik's explanation. OK, it'll just be blobs for me (I thought), but might as well do it anyway. And once I did, PolNOvik's explanation was crystal clear.
Now if I only had a better grasp on the relation between upper case and lower case Cyrillic ...

Really clever, although I needed the given explanation. Even so, I enjoyed the riddle, much more with my little russian knowledge ;)
