I don’t get it. What is this a picture of, and what does it have to do with a poem?

Alexander Blok (literal translation)
Night. Street. Lantern. Pharmacy.
A meaningless and dull light.
Live even another quarter century
All will be thus. No way out.
Die and begin again from the beginning,
And all will repeat as of old:
Night, a canals icy ripple,
Pharmacy, street, lantern.

Thanks for the explanation. I wouldn't have had a clue what it was!!

I can kind of make out a streetlight outside a diner? Or next to a train, maybe? But I have no idea how that matches the title.
like the others have said , the title means nothing
replyInteresting interpretation. I would not have known were it not for the spoiler the reference. However, having that...excellent. It's a surprise.
replyI appreciate anyone who takes the time to make a puzzle for everyone's enjoyment, and I accept that there may be a cultural reference here that I just don't get but I still have to rate this image as poor.
replyThe bit on the right is clearly either a hair dryer or the nozzle of a gas/petrol pump. The rest is meaningless, even with the reference.
replyCreative titles are better than just "bird" or "tank", but "a poem" is too creative to be helpfully descriptive. It should have been the title of the poem instead, even though apparently the title of the poem is itself a form of "bird" or "tank".
