Awesome, I enjoyed this challenge. Tough, but no hints or guesses needed. Thanks!!!
replyGreat job with the contrast! Every part is popping into detail, both the subject and the background.
replyAfter fighting a couple of weeks with this, I had to cheat a bit.. Not proud but the result is amazing!
replyI'm afraid it's impossible to solve without some cheating.
or maybe I'm just tired...
replyor maybe I'm just tired...
Very tough beginning, I had to "check" twice... Than it was just thinking and thinking, neverending thinking ;-)
reply2:35:43 but without guessing and cheating :) Beautiful image!
reply58 min, but without any hints and no guessing. Nice challenge!
replyUnbelivable! My biggest problem was excactly in the middle.
replypossibly the most difficult puzzle i've done. At times you start going crazy thinking that logic won't get you there, but it does in the end. Just some very complicated columns and rows. Wow!
replyChallenging. Had to guess. But great pic at the end.
replyWho are these machines that can do this thing in 25 mins!!??
replyI think it's pretty hard, but not the second hardest on the medium section. Four stars and great challenge.
replytook my hourssss to complete
thank you Tverianka for the challenge!
its always fun to do your puzzles

A difficult puzzle, but the effort isn't worth the outcome.
replyDifficult at the beginning, where I tried front to back vice versa finding clue. But after a few at that, it's smooth all the way till finished. thought going to stare at this puzzle for days haha
replySo hard in the beginning, but that's what makes it so rewarding when you finally get into the groove of solving. Love the end result too :)
replyThis might be the most challenging puzzle I've done all the way through. Well done! I had to use my hints and I almost never do.
replyThis one surely was the most difficult puzzle I have ever done.. I am glad it is now over (without any hints or guesses)..
reply75 min, no rush ,no hints ,no guessing
look at column 20 if you need a hint , its easy to start from there after the obvious stuff.

This nonogram was very cool to solve. Great job Tverianka. :)

I will give some hints for those who are stuck. Continue to read at your own risk.
I will use coordinates to explain myself on what to do. (i.e. (10,11) indicates the block on 10th column and 11th row)
Proceed if and only if you are stuck on a similar position linked on image number 1. I invite also you to do not read all the solution but try to think by yourself how can any hint be useful.
Hint 1: What can we tell if the block (21, 17) is black or a cross?
Solution: if the block (21, 17) is black (colored in blue in the image number 2) then the blocks (21, 14) and (21, 18) must be crosses. Why? The blocks from (21, 9) to (21, 11) belongs to the 7 of 21st column because of superposition of the 7 (check methods of solving for superposition meaning); this means that the blocks from (21, 15) to (21, 17) don't belong to the 7 (otherwise we would have a block of 9 and also these blocks are the blocks of 3 due to the fact that there is lack of spacing between (21, 11) and (21, 15), so the thesis.

Suppose now that the block (21, 17) is a cross (colored in blue in the image number 1), what can we say about the block (20, 17)? It must be a cross, why?
We have 2 hypotheses here: Consider the row 17, then the block of 2 must be before or after the cross on block (21, 17) (there can't be any other hypotheses like the 5 before the cross because of lack of spacing):
1) The block of 2 is before the cross on block (21, 17) then due to lack of spacing the block (18, 17) must belong to the 2 so the block (20, 17) is a cross.
2) The block of 2 is after the cross on block (21, 17) then the blocks from (18, 17) to (15, 17) must belong to 5, why? Because of the "pushing from the wall technique" applied to number 5 (watch methods of solving). In this case, like the previous one, the block (20, 17) must be a cross (otherwise we would have a block of 6).
So We deduced that if the block (21, 17) is a cross, then the block (20, 17) must be a cross.

Answer to the question of the hint: We can deduce that there is surely a cross in the block (21, 14) or in the block (20, 14).
Hint 2: What can we deduce from the answer of the Hint 1?
We can deduce that the blocks (22, 14) and (23, 14) can't belong to 1 of the two 5 on the row 14. Furthermore, due to the fact that the blocks from (26, 14) to (29, 14) belongs to a 5, tell us that these blocks must be from the first 5 and that there must be the second 5 after these blocks. There is only a way the second 5 can be placed after the first 5.
Answer to the question of hint number 2: The blocks from (31, 14) to (35, 14) must be the second block of 5 on the 14th row.
Following both hints, you should get something like in figure 1 and this should be enough to kill the puzzle because from now on its are only easy deductions.

Solved again... but with one hint... so ashamed... How could I miss that?
replyExcellent challenge, nice image, It is very difficult to start, but no hints or guesses are required. Thanks, I enjoyed this.
reply2:05 without hints. Definitely the most challenging crossword I've ever done... and the picture is really nice. Thanks!
