Kangaroos do not travel on all fours, they're bi-peds. Their tails also do not curl up like that, and you would not depict their nose with that detached point. I admit, the hind legs on this image are a bit long, but not in any way which would imply kangaroo. At first glance I thought wolf, but based on the title, it's more likely a guard dog.
