Really fun, interesting and (now that I can see it) beautiful crossword:your first submission to nonograms.org! Welcome and congratulations on the excellent work! (For the longest time I thought it was lying on its back with its feet in the air--but the feet were on backwards. But Mike V said Very nice! so I finally put it on the other side of the room and ah-ha! VERY nice!!!)

Hmm, I thought I was confused on what association that figure has with a flute, but tack on your comment and I'm even more muddled on the association between this image and the title.

Amazing how you can see the young shepherd is smiling. I'd love to hear the sound that pipe makes.
replyLena, thank you. I also didn't realise how good it was till I saw it from a distance.
replyGreat picture for such a small grid! You might almost say, The Good Shepherd!
replyAmazing amount of detail and clarity that is displayed in such a small space.

Thank you for this beautiful puzzle ; I can even hear the music !
It was amazing how he just popped out of a humble of random lines. I guess if you have to sit around all day keeping an eye on sheep, you have plenty of time to practice your music, without any people around to hear your mistakes. Sounds blissful - in good weather, at least.
