No, Palouday's observation is that the positions of the body mislead on that information. And they do. The shape of the hips/neck area does imply that the figure is throwing with their left hand. But the shape of the hips also implies that the left leg is forward, and for that motion the wrong leg is being favored. Hence it is quite easy to say that the handedness of the figure changes depending on how you look at it.
