Surprise! Not at all what I expected. And what a lot to be happening in such a small space! Action, excitement, I can imagine the noise! Excellent! Really well done, Vigil!
replyI really like this image. Excellent job and completely under-rated. This should be a 4 out of 5 for image in my opinion.
replyIt seems to me, Jimbobo, that new puzzles start out with a 2.5 rating for the picture and it is up to us to take it from there. I'm not sure about difficulty.
replyWonderfully inventive puzzle, yet again. Spassibo, Vigil!
replyFor something this size, this is as close to perfection as it gets! 5 stars in my books. Notice how no two winged ones are identical, even though at first glance they all appear to be. This is genius!

Thanks for pointing that out. It makes the image even more interesting, Palouday!
replyAmazing picture, I love it! It's so full of life! They could get out of the frame that I wouldnt't be surprised at all :D Thanks Vigil!
replyNote: I have learned that the artists are paid on the picture's rating. I would like to propose that instead of voting for Beauty, per se, we vote for the quality of the puzzle in terms of creativity, design, expressiveness, humor, and whatever else is important to us. If beauty, per se, is not what matters to us when voting, then it does not move the vote above a "normal."
replyFollow up: As of March the artists will no longer be paid. I hear it was a small amount anyway.
replyI love this one, I really do! it was tough to do and very creative, pure happiness at the end <3
replyReally fun picture! And fun to solve too! Thank you Vigil!
replyFun puzzle; cute and unexpected picture :) Really enjoyed the level of effort that went into this - not too difficult, but not boring either.
replyThis one made me smile when I was done :D It was a pleasant surprise!
replyIt is really a complete package! It has so much! I love it..
replyIngenious and quite difficult, but 'do-able'A good puzzle, thank you.

It's supposed to be "setting a cat among the pigeons," but a dog would produce even more explosive results and, hopefully, fewer, if any, dead pigeons
