For those who can't see the picture, try to look at the smaller version on the preview.
replyThe knight picture is not easy to see, but the solution was very amusing.
replyEven in the thumbnail I can't make out the damsel. But a great idea!
replyTricky horse! Akshat, I don't the damsel is in the picture, just the rescuing knight.
replyI could only see the knight in the thumbnail. I believe the damsel is a shadow in the almost-rectangular window.
replyOk. I'll buy the horse, the knight so-so, maybe the tower, but the damsel no way!
replyThis was one of my first attempts to make a small black-white puzzle. You identified the knight on the left correctly, as well as the tower on the right. There is in fact a damsel in the tower. I meant her to look out of the window and see the knight. Her (white) hair falls out of the window. Hope this helps :-)
replyFun. I can see why people were puzzled about the damsel, but I like the knight and horse. Gracias, Hidalgo!
replyNice, whole story in a little puzzle! Thanks for all the comments, everybody!
replyIs the square shape on the side of the tower supposed to be the damsel's head?

Interesting. I very clearly saw the damsel. But then the the author explained the picture and I had to do a double take. In my first version, the damsel is the whole large object on the right. She is very large compared to the knight because she is in the foreground. She is wearing a crown and has her hand up to her mouth, perhaps nervously biting her nails.
The knight on horseback appeared in the thumbnail. That part is VERY impressive.
