The horse is called knight in chess, Tsirisdis.

Only in English. In most other languages, it’s the horse: French cheval, Spanish caballo, etc. In German it’s the Springer (“jumper” or “leaper”). From Tsiridis’s name, I’m guessing he’s either Greek or Lithuanian; either way, it’s the horse (hippos or žirgas).
