I think it's a ship with a large figurehead and billowing sail... But I'm not certain.

replyI had no idea what it was, either, but like others I'm glad to learn something new! I also found some jokes during my Googling: A man goes into a service-station and asks: 'Can I have a windscreen-wiper for my Lada?' 'Okay' replied the man in the garage. 'It seems a fair swap'.

Nice rendition of the Lada logo. While some people swaer by theirs, there are a lot of Lada jokes. One of my favourites is Why do Ladas have a rear wash-wipe?
